Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla On Thursday held a press conference and clarified on the Parliament Language row. He said that the no words have been banned and government has no control.
New guildelines booklet has been issued ahead of parliamentary monsoon session in which use of terms like 'jumlajeevi', 'baal buddhi', 'COVID spreader' and 'Snoopgate' and even commonly used words like 'ashamed', 'abused, 'betrayed', 'corrupt', 'drama', 'hypocrisy' and 'incompetent' will henceforth be considered unparliamentary in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, according to a new booklet by the Lok Sabha Secretariat.
