Transepithelial PhotoRefractive Keratectomy (TransPRK) is the latest laser refractive surgery for those who do not wish to rely on glasses or contact lenses for their daily activities. It is performed by accurately reshaping the cornea surface using a low and precise energy laser, without a flap creation or using a blade.
TransPRK is performed with the SCHWIND Amaris laser machine, which does not involve sharp surgical instruments touching the eye and does not create a suction on the eye. The entire treatment is fully customized based on the individual measurements taken for each eye.
