Great Crested Grebe swimming under the water surface chasing fish, viewed from the Ivy South Hide at Blashford Lakes Wildlife Reserve, Ringwood, Hampshire, England, May 2011. Difficult to follow the bird but it can be seen several times under the water surface - like a little torpedo!
In the last section the grebe does catch a small fish, just visible in its beak as it swims away (to feed chicks nearby).
A Reed Warbler can be heard singing in the background.
