Introducing Rasht Municipality Square
Rasht Municipal Square was built at the beginning of Reza Pahlavi's reign (1320-1304) and its collection includes the Municipal Palace, Post Museum and the old Iran Hotel building. The municipal building and its clock tower are the symbol of Rasht city. This building was damaged during the terrible and devastating Manjil earthquake in 1369 and was restored to its original form shortly after by Robert Vahanian.

Where is Rasht Municipality Square?
Shahradari Square is one of the most famous sights of Gilan in the center of Rasht. The streets leading to this square are paved for a few hundred meters. For this reason, car traffic is not possible in this distance. Access to this square is possible through Alam El Hadi, Imam and Shariati streets.

Rasht Municipality Building
The white and beautiful building of the Municipal Palace in Rasht city is one of the beautiful attractions of this city and one of the most eye-catching buildings in Rasht Municipality Square, which attracts the attention of tourists. At present, more than 90 years have passed since the age of this building, and this building has still managed to maintain its beauty. For the residents of Rasht city who pass by this beautiful building every day, the building looks quite normal, but for those who enter or pass by Rasht city, this building and all the buildings of Shahdari Square have a beautiful and dreamy view. Rasht Municipal Palace was registered as a national monument on December 26, 1356 with number 1516. This building was damaged and cracked in the Rudbar and Manjil earthquakes in 1369, after which it was rebuilt.
The Rasht Municipal Building is a symbol of Rasht city and one of the main and eye-catching attractions of the city, which still has its music group and orchestra, and tourists can visit it.
