Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will brief leaders of various political parties on the Sri Lankan crisis during an all-party meeting on Tuesday. Day 2 of the Monsoon Session will be convened from 11 am. The Opposition led by the Congress is to demand discussion on urgent issue of rising prices of essential commodities. On the first day of the session, both Houses were adjourned amid the Opposition sloganeering and demanding discussion over inflation and GST rate hikes.
