Here's a video about two new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS I saw during the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed. This track-focused Cayman is the first car from Porsche outside the 911 to wear the RS badge and treatment. It's powered by the same 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-6 engine as the Porsche 911 GT3, with 500 hp and 450 Nm of torque on a car weighting just 1,415kg. The 10 hp less compared to the GT3 are simply due to a different exhaust length and packaging being the engine turned 180 degrees in its mid-engine application. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch automatic and unfortunately there's no manual option so far.

The GT4 RS covered the 20.8 km of the Green Hell in just 7'09''300 (7'04'' 511 on the short 20.6 km variant), improving the previous time recorded with the 'normal' 718 Cayman GT4 by 23.6 seconds.
