Today I’m sharing with you scenes from an old Maine Hunting Camp. Photo’s were taken from the 1940’s, 50’s, & 60’s. My father, grandfather, uncles, & cousins used to hunt deer, wild hares, birds, bear, and fished as well. Any game they got helped to feed themselves, and their families. Sadly those family members are gone now. I grew up hearing “some” of the hunting tales (only as many tales as a little girl was allowed to hear back then). Growing up, I have wonderful memories of going “up to camp” with my parents, sister, and Beagle. It used to be a wonderful, quiet, & peaceful place, with no running water or electricity. Great memories from way back when. ~ Kat
