This week Afaq is a special episode on Egypt's art scene and free expression two years after the revolution. Wissam Sayegh interviewed two egyptian movie directors who he met a couple of years ago for Afaq, and inquired about what changed in Egypt on that level. He interviewed also the satirical singer/dancer Sama Al Masry, who's ascerbic lyrics and unrelenting targeting of the Muslim Brotherhood's rule gained her a widespread audience. Finally, Afaq presents a package on the rise and popularity of Islamic channels whose entirely veiled staff has set them apart in the media landcsacpe.
