Patient No More is in celebration of a little-known Bay Area event that changed the world. In April 1977 more then 150 people with disabilities and their allies occupied San Francisco's Federal Building for nearly a month. They were sitting in to establish the first disability rights laws, and their action helped pave the way for the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. The 504 protest remains the longest occupation of a federal building in U.S. History.
