Lynn Pelletier and Malina Fagan are award-winning documentarians from the Big Island of Hawai'i. Their recent short film “Reefs At Risk” explores the harmful effects of some sunscreen chemicals on coral reefs and marine life. Their film has been seen by almost half a million people, and helped put pressure on legislators in Hawai'i to ban sunscreens with oxybenzone and octinoxate from sale within the state.
