Ayomide Akintoye hailed from Ogun State, a south western state in Nigeria. He is an active session drummer who is quite versatile in varying styles of music such as pop, rock, jazz, afro, funk and gospel music. Ayo has worked with various artists and bands such as Femi Okunuga, Olumide Iyun, NewGen, and a gospel rock band called "The Conqueror". He is greatly inspired by Kaz Rodriguez, Michael Oloyede, Tosin Aribisala and Tony Taylor.
