Maton Custom Shop guitars are hand-built by master luthier Andy Allen in his personal workshop within the Maton factory in Melbourne, using a combination of premium and rare timbers, elegant appointments and stunning craftsmanship to create playable works of art. Our latest Maton Custom Shop arrival is this exceptional deep-body Traditional guitar, designed from the ground up by Andy Allen himself.

This Deep Body traditional has a beautiful Torrified Spruce soundboard and highly figured and very rare Ziricote. Highly figured Blackwood has been used for the neck, with ebony fingerboard and bridge, with gorgeous Satin Box binding. These Custom Andy Allen guitars are a rare commodity and just seem to get better with each build! Includes hardshell case.


Recorded using Ear Trumpet Edwina and Milab VM-44 microphones, Solid State Logic SSL2+ audio interface, Logic Pro X and Waves Reverb and Mastering plugins, with an emphasis of capturing the true voice of each guitar.
