Settlers of Kalguur introduces a pirate boss who will occasionally commandeer your ships. It's a fairly forgiving fight, but you only get one portal to it.

I'd consider it a lot easier than the easier pinnacle bosses (Shaper, or even Searign Exarch) because the boss just doesn't hit all that hard. You can make mistakes and survive them.

Summoning this boss seems RNG but not rare, once you are sending off juicy ships.
