Economists are hopeful that Africa can finally diversify from over dependence on agriculture following recent discoveries of Oil and Gas reserves in a number of countries including Uganda. Exploration of the commodities though, poses serious risks to the environment. Experts attending an oil conference in Uganda's capital, Kampala however say that the country can dispose exploration waste in an environmental friendly manner.
