The terrifying near miss was caught on camera by Steven Paz as he made his way to work during the early hours of Tuesday morning in west London. He managed to capture the incident in full on his dashcam as he stopped to allow the unidentified pedestrian to cross Dawley Road, Hayes, at the pelican crossing. The man, wearing dark clothes with reflective cuffs on his trousers, initially makes it nearly halfway across the road. He is then seen to stop in his tracks and move backwards as the car appears to come to an abrupt halt in the middle of the crossing.
