Today I did a bit of casting practise with the heavier leads- particularly the 250gr lead (8Ozs) to better simulate a fishing situation. As the weather becomes more autumnal, we can start to expect stronger winds and some storms to roll in- this rougher whether brings in fish such as cod which I plan to target over the next few weeks. So today's practise session was to get use to casting the bigger weight that I would be using when targeting cod.
