The Nairobi Rotary Club has held special celebrations for children living with disabilities. The event dubbed Rotary Sunshine Rally held at Nairobi’s Jamhuri Park was attended by more than 3,000 with special needs from the countries 47 counties. The day was marked with songs and dance. Speaking during the event, the chairman of the national council for people living with disabilities David Sankok said there is need to acknowledge and appreciate people living with disabilities. He asked parents with children with disabilities to encourage them and not hide them.
