Officially passed overnight: Social Security checks increasing for millions of beneficiaries.
In this video, we are discussing Social Security and a bill which was passed overnight which will automatically increase Social Security benefit checks for millions of beneficiaries. This is in regards to the Social Security fairness act which will repeal the windfall elimination provision and government pension offset. It did pass through the Senate overnight and the president will sign it into law. This will automatically increase Social Security benefit checks for roughly 3,000,000 beneficiaries.
