In China's Shandong province, home to the country's largest gold reserve, companies are using innovative solutions for more efficient and safer gold mining. With remote controlled trucks and drills, a mine operator for the Shandong Gold Group says they've mechanized 80 percent of their operations which has increased efficiency by three to five times.
