No fireworks for Gazprom in 2025! With the dawn of the new year, Europe has entered a new era of energy security, ridding itself of the vestiges of dependence on Russian gas that previously flowed through war-torn Ukraine. However, not everyone is happy, with Slovakia at the forefront of the outcry against the termination of the agreement. In a bid to get back at Kyiv for cutting off the gas supply, Bratislava promised to end energy support for Ukraine. Shortly afterwards, Poland said it was ready to help Kyiv out of this difficult situation.
