The Kindred - "Anti-Nazi Riot" A BlankTV World Premiere!

Artist Bio: Formed back in 2001 by Rob Letting, Paul Thompson and Kirk Brandham. Rob and Paul began writing music because of their love of bands such as Goldfinger, Fenix TX, Rancid and Green Day to name a few. They recorded their first EP in March 2001 with Paul on guitar and Rob playing bass and drums. With original tracks from the EP and a stack of covers at their disposal, the band took on numerous temporary drummers to hone their sound and to begin gigging the local scene. This was satisfactory for a few months, however, band chemistry did not feel right with the hired stick men and the band continued their search for the right drummer up until November of that year.
An advertisement for a drummer with a love for punk rock music in a local rehearsal room, prompted Kirk Brandham to apply for the vacant position in The Kindred. After one practice it was clear that Kirk had the passion and experience that was needed as he had been drumming from a very early age and had been in a Metallica covers band at the age of eleven. The Kindred were born!
Over the years The Kindred have grown as a band. Their influences have slowly changed over the years and they currently possess a more hardcore/street-punk/metal sound citing bands such as The Unseen, Madball, Venerea, Pennywise and Knuckledust as influences. Since their first recording they have recorded three more EP’s and three full-length albums, their latest, ‘Exacerbate’ being widely recognised in the underground circuit and receiving solid reviews in fanzines and on internet sites alike. The band have also gained vast live experience from gigs all over the country.
