In 2004, Paris artists Aurelie de la Cadiere and Etsuko Kobayashi showed their works in the Kortman Gallery in Rockford, Illinois in an exhibition titled "Two Women of 59 Rue de Rivoli" (April 16-May 31, 2004). Both artists were residents of the artists' squat and gallery at 59 rue de Rivoli, which at its peak was one of the most visited contemporary arts venues in Paris. The photographs and video were taken by Doc Salfkosky and edited by Kevin Cronin of Engine Studio in Rockford.
