To those I shared this video with I inadvertently stated that the only widebody before the A300 was the 747 - this is incorrect. The DC-10 and L-1011 tri-jets where both launched before the A300. The Airbus A300 launched over 8 months before the Boeing 767 rival to become the first 2 engine widebody aircraft on the market.
