Did you know that you have 60 days to appeal a denied FEMA assistance application? Call us today at (833) 682-7630 and we can help you in ASL with the appeal process.
Our Hurricane Relief ASL Helpline is now available for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people seeking hurricane resources. Call us for access to vital information, safety plans, and even support for non-ASL resources to be explained in ASL.
We offer live chat support as well. To access that feature people can visit csd.org and click on the button that says “Text Chat” on the lower right side of the screen. For more text-based support options individuals can text “help” to the Red Cross at 72227 or can text “help” to FEMA at 43362.
You can find accessible resources, as well as more information on what topics our helpline can support at the link in our bio.
Please share this post with anyone who would benefit from the helpline.
