Russia Terror Attack: 15 Killed in Attacks on Churches, Synagogues in Dagestan
Unidentified gunmen attacked multiple places of worship in Russia’s Republic of Dagestan. Simultaneous attacks were carried out in Dagestan’s Makhachkala and Derbent City. The coordinated attacks were on churches, synagogues and police posts. The attack happened on the orthodox festival of Pentecost. According to the police, at least 15 people lost their lives, including civilians, police officials, and a priest. As per reports, the assailants were wearing dark clothes to conceal their identities. The authorities have launched a criminal probe into acts of terror, and they also believe that the suspects are adherents of international terrorist organisations. Watch the video to know more.
