For physical purchases
Here is how you go about it:
1. Walk to the Point of Sales terminal of the seller.
2. After the cashier has billed you, tap your card or wave it within four centimeters of the card reader to pay.
For e-commerce
First, you need to enable the e-commerce transactions by keeping to these steps:
1. Open the CIMB Bank PH app and ensure you have logged in.
2. Tap on the 'Cards' button at the bottom of the homepage.
3. Click on the ‘Settings’ button.
4. On the page that loads, choose the ‘ON’ option for the ‘Online e-commerce payment’ feature.
To make the payment, follow this procedure:
1. Navigate to the vendor’s website where you are making the purchase.
2. Under the ‘Payment’ section, select the ‘Debit Card’ option.
3. Input your CIMB debit card number and the payment amount.
4. Authorize the payment after a verification using an OTP.
