About the game's version of the bridge:

❝ The Golden Gate is the most famous bridge in the world. Spanning three miles between San Francisco and Marin, the bridge is considered one of the Wonders of the Modern World.❞

The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge and world-famous tourist destination in San Francisco, well known for it "International Orange" color. As a result of Blume's and CTOS's influence on the city, its towers are fitted with satellite dishes. The bridge has 4 lanes in total, two on each side. The bridge also has sidewalks on either side, although no pedestrians can be seen crossing the bridge. At the northern end of the bridge, off-ramps lead south back onto the road running beneath the bridge, while on the southern end of the bridge, the highway leads traffic towards the city, meeting at a cross road shortly after cornering east towards the city.

In real life, the bridge contains a toll, but this is absent in-game. Also in real life, the bridge consists of six lanes, three in each direction, rather than the in-game four lanes (two in each direction).

The real-life Golden Gate Bridge:

The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the one-mile-wide (1.6 km) strait connecting San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The structure links the U.S. city of San Francisco, California—the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula—to Marin County, carrying both U.S. Route 101 and California State Route 1 across the strait. It also carries pedestrian and bicycle traffic, and is designated as part of U.S. Bicycle Route 95. Being declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers, the bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco and California. It was initially designed by engineer Joseph Strauss in 1917.

It is made of steel, is 8,980 ft (2,737.1 m) or about 1.7 mi (2.7 km) long in total, 90 ft (27.4 m) wide, and 746 ft (227.4 m). Clearance above is at 14 ft (4.3 m) at toll gates, and clearance below is 220 ft (67.1 m) at high tide.

Construction started in January 5, 1933, ended at April 19, 1937, and was opened on May 27, 1937, 84 years ago.

Toll fees range from $6.05 (carpools) to $8.60 max.

About the game:

Watch Dogs 2 is a 2016 action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the sequel to 2014's Watch Dogs and the second installment in the Watch Dogs series. It was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows in November 2016, and Stadia in December 2020.

Set within a fictionalized version of the San Francisco Bay Area, the game is played from a third-person perspective and its open world is navigated on-foot or by vehicle. Players control Marcus Holloway, a hacker who works with the hacking group DedSec to take down the city's advanced surveillance system known as ctOS.
