Mickey and I had a blast on Lake Toledo Bend. We sight fished the entire time and caught all of our bass on an Xcite Raptor Tail Jr in a handful of natural colors plus a custom pink(bubble gum) color. We fished from Housen to Lowes creek in this video. All bass were released back to spawn. It's important to practice catch and release during the spawn so our lakes stay good! I seen several piles of bass fry but not near the amount I had hoped to see. Hopefully the bass had a good spawn this year. Only thing Toledo Bend is lacking right now is cover for the fry. There isn't much grass out here due to it being sprayed with weed killer. Hopefully that stops soon.
