In the latest, CM Mamata Banerjee slammed BJP allegedly for not releasing funds under the MGNREGA scheme. The Bengal CM said that the Centre should scrap GST if it is unable to clear the state’s dues. Reacting to Banerjee's statements, BJP Leader Rahul Sinha accused the TMC govt of failing to ‘submit utilisation certificates’ on funds spent under MGNREGA.
