[ Ссылка ] [ Ссылка ] Viewers have been asking for more product reviews, so here are the Fusport Simpson adventure boots I grabbed six months ago. As always, check for our long term comments in the comments section. If we have any issues further down the track we always update these reviews with long term comments. How a boot holds up over time is very important when looking at adventure boot reviews. Fusport is an Australian company dating back to 1998 with road racing boots designed and produced in Australia. The adventure range have appeared more recently and the big drawcard was price. At $199 the Fusport Simpson boot is up to half the price of similar adventure boots from Gaerne, Forma and Sidi. And the design is very similar... Leather upper. Waterproof. Ankle reinforcements. Rigid mid sole. And so on. But is it as good as the premium brands. Well only time will tell. The boot certainly looks the part. Initially I wasn't sure about the comfort level of the boot, I made the mistake of wearing thin socks on my first ride and the right boot felt a bit lumpy. But this disappeared by the third ride and they have felt very comfortable since then. Walking in the boots is very easy, a real change from wearing motocross boots, and important thing to look for in adventure boot reviews. Fusport say the boots have a dual density sole, I assume the mid section is toughened up so it won't wear on the footpegs quickly. It's early days but certainly no wear appearing at this stage. It's been so dry this year has been no chance to test the waterproof claims as yet for this adventure boot review. Protection? There is no CE rating on the boots, but currently on boots on the European market usually have this. The plastic shinguard section is very strong. The boot is certainly appears solid enough to cope with a slide down the road. The toe case is reasonably strong. As with any adventure boot, there is only a limited amount of protection for the ankle though. There is always a trade off between a boot that is comfortable to walk in, and providing really solid protection overall. The Fusport looks very similar in design to the premium brands, if I ever get a chance to compare the protection levels directly I'll let you know in the long term comments for this Fusport adventure boot. For any hard core adventure riding I would always opt for my proper enduro boots. A final note. Although Fusport still design and test their boots in Australia, like the vast majority of boot manufacturers they have had to outsource manufacturing. These Simpson boots are made in Pakistan and Fusport say they apply very rigorous quality control. So far that certainly seems to be the case, but we'll let you know if we experience any issues further down the track with this Fusport Simpson adventure boot.

At FÜSPORT we believe everything happens for a reason and unfortunately once the GFC hit in the early 2000’s financial pressures hit Australian manufacturers and our Adelaide operation hard and forced us to close our Australian factory but after a small hiatus from sales FÜSPORT Boots is back re-establishing itself as a force in motorcycling and constantly striving to develop the best product to you. This allowed such an illustrious bevvy of riders to help us develop our boots from day dot.
