In this video I went to the south shore of LI on a cold, extremely windy, late November day. I decided to throw a diamond jig on this outing because I knew there was still some peanut bunker around and a diamond jig is good for imitating small bait fish. And there was a strong sweeping wind so I wanted to still get good casting distance. I ended up catching a bunch of schoolies which has been pretty common along the surf on this years fall run, but they still make for some fun fishing this late in the year. I used my 10.5ft Tsunami Airwave Elite surf rod on this outing which worked great to get that diamond jig out there. Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
