BEAU'S BOWL IS BACK!
After a couple of weeks hiatus, we're back with Beaus Friday morning cafe adventure. Check out our facebook page for his full review of the Grumpy Bakery.
That brings me on to our discussion today ... sponsorship. Again, let me know if this stuff is boring, but I kinda thought I needed to talk about it as it is a huge part of our development of the team at the moment.
Cycling is still a very niche sport, but I have been heartened by the doors that have remained open when discussing this sort of thing.
That said, it is becoming increasingly obvious to me that the old skool sort of cycling sponsorship; big logo on jersey, zip up jersey when winning, stand on podium, repeat process as many times as possible ... is not sustainable in the current climate.
So we as bike 'people' have to find new ways to bring money into the sport.
