Hydro-Québec is the biggest renewable energy generator in North America, generating power for Québec as well as export markets around them. The Champlain Hudson Power Express project, halfway through it's construction, will deliver renewable energy from the Canadian border all the way to New York city.
But how can we protect communities during these builds?
Adam Lake sat down with Hydro-Québec's Chief Operating Officer, Serge Abergel, to discuss the progress of the project, and how prioritising community initiatives and bringing value back to communities is an essential part of accomplishing hydro projects.
