We shot this video at the Chateau of Cheverny in the Loire Valley of France. In addition to being one of the most beautiful castles in France, Cheverny is also home to a kennel with more than 100 hounds. The pack of dogs is being fed every morning, all the dogs at the same time. It is an incredible spectacle to watch more than 100 dogs being fed at the same time and eating from the same bowl. These hounds are hunting dogs. They are used for deer hunting to hunt deer in the neighborhood Loire Valley forests. They are nt so much used for fox hunting the way coursing was traditionally done in England. They are ferocious dogs. The dog master manages to keep them at bay from their dog food and they only get to eat once the dog master gives them the signal that it is OK for them to eat their dog food.
