October is the Month of the Holy Rosary and we have travelled to Walsingham to invite you to take on a very special challenge. In the Gospel we hear the story of the Angel Gabriel's visit to Mary. We reflect on how Mary is our mum and we can show our love for her through a simple yet beautiful prayer.

The Rosary Challenge 2023
The perfect way to journey through the Month of the Holy Rosary.
The Month of October is the month of the Holy Rosary and we are inviting children everywhere to pray this wonderful prayer with us each weekday in October.
Traditionally, the Holy Rosary is prayed in ‘decades.’ A decade includes the ‘Our Father’, ten ‘Hail Marys’ and the ‘Glory Be.’ Whilst praying the decade you can meditate upon a ‘Mystery.’ Each ‘Mystery’ is a landmark moment in the life of Jesus or his mother Mary. We have created a video for each mystery of the Rosary. We invite children to use one of the videos each weekday in October and pray a decade.
We hope you and your school can join the Rosary Challenge and pray alongside thousands of children across the United Kingdom.
