Hey everyone! Just wanted to share with you guys a small rigging technique for 2D looking beady eyes in a 3D software like Maya. Perhaps this can be useful to those who wants to achieve this kind of 2D look. Part 2 is a simple animation demonstration of how this technique can be used in production.
This solution was developed because our short firm leans towards such an art direction which requires 2D looking eyes instead of 3D "target eyes".
