A little bit of classical music for a change !
I am a long fan of J.S. Bach's music, particularly the worldwide known toccata & fugue in D minor.
A few days ago I was searching for Bach's works and my attention get caught by the "well tempered clavier" masterpiece that I have already heard of a lot.
I decided to adapt the 2nd prelude of book 1 for my synths. I found a midi file online and used the "Bandlab" app to work on it.
In the original work there are 2 voices, but I kept only the highest pitched one for this adaptation. I used the J-6 to sequence the Uno synth Pro-X.
Technically nothing ground breaking apart from one simple trick to program the J-6 : I set the "beat" parameter to "1-2" and alternatively used "2-2" and "2-3" style/variation. This way each step contains to 1/16th notes. 5 patterns of up to 64 steps are needed in total. I had to shorten the end since I was not able to program it in the J-6 with those settings.
Recorded with my phone using the open camera app and a behringer UCA-222 USB audio interface. All sounds from the Uno synth Pro-X without audio post processing.
