On December 01, in 1920,the Aligarh Muslim University finally came into being after the AMU Act was published in Government Gazzete.
Sir Syed 's persistence and dedication led to the founding of the Mohammedan Anglo - Oriental College,later rechristened as Aligarh Muslim University. In honour of this day ,here is a moving clip from the play "Sir Syed",the grandest production of University Drama Club.
This year (2020),the University celebrates the 100 years of the completion.
