Easy to put together if you’ve watched a couple of a YouTube videos and done your research.
Mine was missing a few screws for the end where the latch goes on the bottom and top of the door. But you can always use your own.
One thing is that on the step where you’re supposed to install the metal plate to the lip of the roof, there are no pre-drilled holes and the instructions state that, but you kinda miss it. So just know that you’ll just line it up and it will punch through with a little bit of force.
Also the hinges are the tricky part, but if you do it so that the clasp faces out when in the closed position on the inside of the door then it’s correct. Also it slides on easy. Just line it up and go from the top. I don’t know why people get hung up on this step.
The one part about the hinge, when you have the clasp clipped in and the screw is to be screwed in, you can go only so far and then you should use a ratchet wrench to do the rest. Using a Phillips screw driver will most likely strip the screw and you’ll be “screwed”. Pun intended.
On one of these, the thread of the screw some how was stripped and would not go through. Fortunately I had an extra one or I would have been stuck at that step and would have had to call them for a replacement part.
The outside latch was the next confusing part because there were no holes which I made by using a screw driver to punch through it. Also, it required a wrench to secure the nut holding the screw bolt in place, and that wasn’t in the list of tools to gather on the manual.
Aside from that if you do your research and don’t run into any snags like I did, it shouldn’t take longer than an hour and a half to assemble.
I did the installation alone. The first panel might be a challenge but just line it up and use the inside of your foot to kick it in till it’s lined up and secure. If you can lean it up against a wall so it doesn’t tip over one way or the other, you’ll be good.
Hope you enjoy the video! Thanks.
Good luck!
