Illegal structures, encroachments were razed with bulldozers on Jan 23 in the Naya Nagar area of Mira Road in Mumbai. As per Maharashtra govt, stone pelting incident took place in Naya Nagar area on the occasion of Ram Mandir ‘Prana Pratishtha’. Gita Jain, BJP MLA from Mira Bhayander Constituency, explained the sequence of events that led to violence.
