Is Australian Floetrol REALLY necessary to get amazing lacing in bloom pours? Let’s find out!
Two weeks ago I did a massive showdown of 3 of the most common alternative cell activators that do NOT require Australian floetrol. The clear winner was Amsterdam paint and water, and you can see the whole video here! [ Ссылка ]
Today, I’m using the same paints and mixtures, but testing out the “real” cell activator (3 parts Aussie floetrol to 1 part Amsterdam Titanium White) against the best “alternative” cell activator.

My paints for the bloom recipe were mixed with a 2:1 mixture of untinted semigloss house paint and polycrylic, until they reached the right consistency.
My other paints were mixed with US floetrol (about 2:1 floetrol to paint) and thinned water to a thick-but-flowing consistency. Paint-mixing video is here! [ Ссылка ]
