Techtober wasn't just about mobile phones and computers. It also found its way into the photography world. With major releases and announcements from Canon, Nikon, Leica, Panasonic and Fujifilm, it's a pretty exciting time if you're looking to buy a new camera or you're planning to upgrade. Although the Fujifilm XF 8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR isn't scheduled to be shipped until the end of November, I have an early retail copy and thought I would share the excitement by doing an unboxing video. I have already started shooting and testing the lens extensively, but this was my first reaction as I unboxed this beast of a zoom lens. This is the latest addition to Fujifilm's professional 'Red Label' lenses, and so far this lens' specs, size, weight and price proves it belongs in this prestigious group. Keep an eye on my other social media platforms to see my first images taken with this new lens.
