Some of Y’all was created in isolation and represents the amalgamated sound of 20 individual musicians from 5 different time zones. It is the result of the “Pass the Beat Challenge” that was made to inspire connections between Epidemic’s roster of musicians during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This challenge consisted of 20 artists contributing a single element to a track then calling out another Epidemic Music Creator to do the same. For this reason, the track exists between genres. Elements of R&B, Lofi Hip-Hop, Pop, and Big band infiltrate the track.
