Days in northern Costa Rica’s rainforests are hot and humid, especially when you spend your time hiking, climbing trees, and measuring tree cavities! Despite the hot weather and the strenuous activity, our Great Green Macaw Team love their days in the field.

Nacho spends most of his days assisting Tom with his Ph.D. research, the study he’s conducting in collaboration with Macaw Recovery Network. Now that Tom is back in his homeland until further notice due to the current health crisis, Nacho has taken on the task of keeping up the research according to plan.
