Polls have closed and counting has started in some parts of Burundi's capital Bujumbura following elections to choose a president.
Earlier today youth barricaded roads and set tyres alight to protest a night of fighting. Voters have been trickling to polling stations since morning in a poll preceded by months of protests over incumbent President Pierre Nkurunziza's decision to run for a third term.
