In the latest development in the Maharashtra extortion racket case, Enforcement Directorate (ED) has now attached immovable assets belonging to former state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and his family members of worth Rs 4.2 crore. The ED has attached these assets under anti-money laundering in the corruption and extortion case.
The former state minister, accused in extortion, corruption and money laundering, had skipped three summons by ED which wanted to interrogate him in the case.
