Screeding some self leveling concrete to fix a low spot in a kitchen. We're using some Level Quik by Custom self leveler from Home Depot. Its definitely not my favorite self leveler to work with, but it works ok for screeding. I prefer Mapei or even Sika, but the Custom was easier to get today. This is for a project we are working on. in Boca Raton. We will be installing some solid wood flooring in a herringbone pattern with borders as well as some straight lay wood flooring. The interesting thing about the flooring we will be working with is that we will be using the same floor for the herringbone and the straight lay, not an actual floor made for just herringbones. In order for the floor to be used for both applications it comes with no tongues on the end joints. Both ends of the boards have grooves so we will have to add our own spline / tongue.
