I have DJ'ed for many years - beginning as a vinyl DJ exclusively back in the early 00's and then embracing the digital formats when technology evolved. As much as I love the ease and convenience of DJ'ing on USB's - my first love will always be vinyl.

My selection of records reflect a moment in time when my friends and I would pile back to a friends house after clubbing and there would always be someone on the decks attempting to DJ as we continued the best bit of the party - listening to the tunes and having a laugh at the 'afters'

A few of the records in this mix actually belonged to one of my friends and come from the late 90's - he no longer DJ's and gave me a huge pile of records much to my joy.

The music I have chosen comes from both sides of the Atlantic with sounds from producers like Grant Nelson and Todd Edwards and features labels such as Swing City and Nice 'n' Ripe and early Defected. The mix wouldn't reflect the time without at least one track that features the vocals of India - one of the most prolific and talented singers of that era.
