Kala Chana Masala Recipe

Ingredients for Kala Chana Recipe:
Kala Chana (Black Chickpeas): 1 cup (soaked overnight)
Onion: 2 medium (finely chopped)
Tomatoes: 2 medium (pureed)
Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds: 1/2 tsp
Salt: To taste
Oil: 2-3 tbsp
Fresh Coriander: For garnish
How to Make Kala Chana Masala:
1. Pressure cook soaked kala chana until soft.
2. In a pan, heat oil and sauté cumin seeds until aromatic.
3. Add onions and cook until golden, then mix in ginger-garlic paste.
4. Stir in tomato puree and spices; cook until oil separates.
5. Add cooked kala chana, mix well, and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
