I bought an X-Y table for a project, but it was very poorly made, so this (and another couple of videos) cover my efforts to get it back up to scratch.

I also posted this on my height gauge video, but for those wanting a surface plate for small parts, @CarbatecTheHomeOfWoodworking (not a sponsor) do a little granite one measuring 300x230x50. They were $115 on 7th Sept '23. This is the one that I had the dial indicator on.
